Norberto Bravo is the owner beautiful Finca la Florida in Tarqui, Huila. We first visited Norberto three years ago. At the time, we could not buy any coffee from him but have long hoped that one day we could.
We are so happy that we can finally offer a lot from la Florida! This lot, a mix of Caturra, Variedad Colombia and Castillo, was grown at an elevation of upwards of 1700 masl. After a long, dry fermentation, lots are dried in a parabolic dryer. Due to the high elevation and cool climate, drying times are often in excess of two weeks.
We hope to develop a long term relationship with Norberto and offer his coffee on a regular basis. Enjoy!
It must be noted that fresh, whole bean coffee can only be roasted and shipped on Tuesdays. We can only promise that orders placed before midnight on Monday will be fulfilled the next day. Otherwise, orders placed after the cutoff will be fulfilled the following Tuesday.
